Oh my, you did have a lot of rain---look at your boots! Hey---what are those baskets for in the photo with the ducks? Aww, love the pic of your kitty. :)
I put cabbage and greens in the basket for the ducks. I found that shepherd's crook at the dump believe it or not! They just love it and it keeps their treats out of the mud for the most part.
Awesome idea! I've been trying to think of ways to put cabbage in our chicken coop. A metal basket would be a great idea! Love the shepherd's crook too, it's so perfectly decorative. :)
LOL - I feel your pain! And if it wasn't bad enough on the farm we live on, I had to take some eggs to my friend 80 miles away and her mile-long driveway runs up the side of a mountain - - all ice, snow and mud... and a few fallen trees. Kids thought it was a blast to go "4-wheeling." Glad we don't get this too often. Our mud room is really living up to its name right now!
I've never left a comment, but I wanted to say that we've had the same kind of weather this week. Our roads look like yours, and we've had some icy weather as well. I also love your new header, and the pictures of your ducks are a reminder to me that we need to get some more ducks. My youngest son has one lone duck who travels all around the farm with a goose!
Great photos, Lisa! How does your cat keep those paws perfectly white in all that mud? ;-) Yesterday, the weather was actually beautiful here. I think it's supposed to be either snowing or raining on Monday though. 'Tis the season. -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Our week was about the same as yours rain, rain, and more. Then the call for snow, everyone around us got pretty nice snowing; while our grass was bearly covered. I'm so glad to see this sunny sunday.

ReplyDeleteI love the photograph of the brown and green pastures, the fence, the shadows with the un-melted snow.
